How It Started and Why

 

I wanted to take a moment to share the story behind Chamomile Assist Ltd — why we exist, how we started, and what drives us every day. It's important to me that the people who trust us understand the values this business is built on.

 

In 2014, I began working self-employed under the name Chamomile Assist. In 2024, Chamomile Assist Ltd became a registered business. We're not just a care service — we provide care, cleaning, admin support, and personal task services including email and inbox management, bookings and enquiries, invoicing and payment tracking, friendly payment follow-ups, HR admin support, data entry, spreadsheets, and general organisation. Whether you need one-off help or ongoing support, we are here for you.

 

Our services are tailored to each individual. We don't tell you what you need — we listen to what you want and build our support around you as a person. I am a small business, intentionally operating as a solo person within the company. 

I want people to know who serves them, and that anyone who works with me is efficient, competent, and committed to the highest standard.

 

My Journey

 

Before entering the care sector, I spent 15 years in family mediation, progressing from receptionist to office manager. 

I applied dreaming of dramatic courtroom moments — the full Ally McBeal experience! 

 

The reality was slightly different, but the determination and the singing in mirrors stayed. Even back then, my attitude was simple: if I want something, I'm going to go and get it. That mindset has never left me.

 

Moving into care, I quickly witnessed how people were being treated by the very systems meant to support them — bad practice overlooked in favour of money, and workers who talked the talk but didn't follow through. Instead of fighting a broken system, I decided to build my own — one where everyone involved genuinely cares. Quality over quantity. Real commitment over simply showing up.

 

This is where boundaries became everything — not only for my customers, but for myself. To support someone, you must first be able to support yourself. I'm not perfect, but I am always open to learning. And in care, an open mind is not optional.

 

Many of my customers have been with me for years. Some feel more like family than clients, and that means the world to me,  but I believe it is the boundaries themselves that create that bond. Boundaries aren't about distance — they build the respect, discipline, and commitment that allow real trust to grow. That is what turns a service into a relationship.

 

My Promise

 

This business carries my name — but it also carries a name gifted to me by someone whose strength and support made all of this possible. 'Chamomile' — representing calm, healing, and care — I carry it with pride and purpose every single day. Without their encouragement, none of this would exist.

 

My business will stand for success built on 100% competency. I will not tolerate even one percent of deceit, lack of trust, or anything that compromises the integrity of what we do. This is my promise — to them, to every customer, to everyone who has believed in this vision.
